Monday - Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Pay: -110140 per day (depending on experience)

We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Colchester that is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Unqualified English Teacher to join its English department. This school is committed to providing a high-quality education and supporting aspiring educators who are passionate about making a positive impact on students'' learning and development.
Job Overview:
- Full-time, Monday - Friday Unqualified English Teacher role.
- Deliver pre-planned and supported English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Support students in developing their reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
- Create an engaging and positive classroom environment that promotes learning.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of students of varying abilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support achievement.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
- Work closely with experienced teachers, department leaders, and support staff.
- Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities.

What We''re Looking For:
- A degree in English, English Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related subject is desirable.
- Experience working with young people in an educational, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or youth work setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for English and helping students achieve their potential.
- Confidence managing groups of students and maintaining positive classroom behaviour.
- A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
