      <description>Location: Cumbria | Salary: 10000-500000 Daily | Type: Contract | UNIX Engineer - Contract (Hybrid, UK)  £535/day (Inside IR35) 3-month contract Hybrid working (2-3 days onsite per week) We are seeking an experienced UNIX Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-scale infrastructure, with a strong focus on Oracle Solaris and virtualisation technologies. Role Overview This role involves managing complex UNIX environments, ensuring high availability, resilience, and secure system operations across large enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities  Administer and support Oracle Solaris systems Manage LDOMs (Logical Domains) for virtualisation Deliver system migrations and upgrades across UNIX environments Design and support high-availability clustering solutions Monitor system performance and resolve complex technical issues Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams Maintain compliance with security and operational standards  Required Skills andamp; Experience  Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Solaris LDOM configuration and management expertise Experience with Oracle T-series hardware (T5, T7, T8) Proven background in UNIX migrations and upgrades Knowledge of clustering, failover, and resilience design Strong understanding of UNIX...</description>
