Unix Administrator

I am recruiting for a Unix Administrator to work 2-3 days in Dunstable, remaining time remote.

This role falls inside IR35 so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

You must have strong experience of deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Unix/Linux systems (RedHat, OL, Solaris).

You will be skilled in administration of Virtualisation platforms including VMware and Oracle VM (OLVM).

You will also have experience of managing Physical Servers - DELL / Oracle.

You will be responsible for monitoring system performance and availability, escalating issues as needed, participating in patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management tasks and document system configurations, procedures, and changes.

You will be involved with automation efforts using scripting and tools like Ansible.
