About the Company

This is a high performance motorsport manufacturing business specialising in the production of precision engineered components for elite motorsport applications.

The Role

A skilled Universal Grinder is required to join a precision engineering environment in Coventry. You will be responsible for grinding high specification components, with a strong focus on internal grinding operations, working to extremely tight tolerances and high quality standards.

• Set, operate and adjust universal grinding machines
• Carry out internal grinding on precision components to tight tolerances
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform self inspection using measuring equipment including micrometers and bore gauges
• Ensure all components meet strict quality and performance standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

About You

• Proven experience as a Universal Grinder
• Strong background in internal grinding is essential
• Experience within precision engineering or motorsport or aerospace sectors
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and high quality standards
• Confident reading technical and engineering drawings
• Self motivated with excellent attention to detail
