Unit Manager About the role: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate care professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the leadership and day-to-day management of a designated unit. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring residents receive the highest standards of person-centred care while leading, supporting and developing the care team. Key Responsibilities: Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your designated unit, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate and person-centred care. Ensure residents'' dignity, independence, choice and individual needs are respected and promoted at all times. Lead and supervise the care team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to ensure excellent standards of care. Take responsibility for residents'' and employees'' documentation, ensuring records are accurate, clear, timely and compliant with regulatory requirements. Maintain high standards of care practice across the unit and ensure company policies and procedures are followed. Administer and manage residents'' medication in line with company policies, national standards and pharmaceutical guidelines. Monitor residents'' wellbeing and report any incidents, concerns or changes that may affect their health, safety or welfare.
