Underwriting Assistant Aviation

My client is seeking a junior candidate/graduate to assist the underwriters writing a new book of Aviation business. -Amongst other responsibilities, data entry is a large initial part of the role, but there is scope for automation. There will also be opportunity to have some influence over the risk modelling design and management. It would therefore suit someone who is prepared to get involved with manual data-input to start with, but at the same time develop and oversee a project to automate the process. This is a client facing role, dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

You will either be a graduate looking for your first insurance role with a numeric A Level or degree, and solid technical skills in Excel and Python and/or Power BI or already have some experience in the GI market in a similar role.-
