UK Permanent Engineering Manager – Rotary

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking an Engineering Manager for a unique permanent position to oversee the base and line maintenance of rotary aircraft for a prestigious VIP MRO and operator based in the south-east of England. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within one of the world’s leading private charter organisations supporting high-profile clientele ensuring that scheduled and un-scheduled tasks are carried out to the highest standard.You will oversee the continued maintenance a variety of aircraft as detailed below:Sikorsky S-76,S-92,Leonardo AW139,Airbus Helicopters H155,Some of the key responsibilities will be:Maintenance oversight and liaising with third party sub-contractor provision,The control and standards of performance for maintenance activities and personnel,Management of customer support requests from start to finish with regular feedback to the customer,Assisting with the scheduling of maintenance including the tooling, manpower, and required equipment,Taking responsibility for customer approvals on maintenance activities and the completion of documentation in coordination with the task.This opportunity is perfect for someone with extensive experience within engineering management who can demonstrate a solid understanding of the requirements of heavy maintenance of rotary aircraft – someone able to encourage and sustain high standards of work and oversee a highly skilled team across a variety of aircraft types.
