Responsibilities and duties of the Managing Director UK role
Reporting to the Group Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, you will:

• Lead the UK business, driving commercial growth and overall performance.
• Manage and develop high performing commercial teams.
• Build strategic relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
• Deliver the UK sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue targets.
• Oversee marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
• Take ownership of the UK P&L, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Identify new growth opportunities and expand market presence.
• Represent the business across the renewable energy industry.
• Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure excellent customer service and delivery.

Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Proven experience in a Managing Director, Commercial Director, or similar senior leadership role.
• Strong background in sales, marketing, and commercial strategy.
• Experience within renewable energy, solar, battery storage, or a related technical industry.
• Demonstrable success delivering revenue growth and scaling a business.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading multi disciplinary teams and influencing senior stakeholders
