ROLE PURPOSE

This role is focused on protecting and raising assets across Impax’s UCITS fund range, Impax Environmental Markets plc (our flagship investment trust) and private market strategies within the UK Wholesale market. The candidate will have 5+ years of distribution experience with a network of relationships in the UK and Channel Islands as well as a proven track record of raising assets. The role combines building on our existing investor footprint as well as developing new relationships with UK wealth managers, DFMs, banks, multi-managers, family offices and platforms.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Principal ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of Impax’s UK wholesale business by raising assets under management across our UCITS range and Investment TrustStrengthen relationships with Impax’s client base through a high energy approach to activityPlay an ambassadorial role for Impax with integrity and technical credibilityBuild Impax’s brand recognition in the wider market by representing the firm at relevant industry eventsDevelop and lead on thoughtful and engaging ‘home-grown’ events with clientsMaintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, managing multiple engagements from initial engagement to allocationRecord all client interactions in Salesforce in a timely mannerCollaborate with marketing, investment, and client service teams to ensure consistent and high-quality client communication.Actively support new fund launches through pre-launch feedback and market sounding, finding seed investors and accelerating post launch fund AUMCompliance with local regulations and internal policies and proceduresSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE

Knowledge, Skills and Experience RequiredCandidates will have 5+ years of experience in business development / fund raising preferably within asset managementProven track record of selling actively managed equity and credit strategies to intermediaries across the UKPrivate markets experience a bonusHigh level of attention to detailUnderstands the sales process, routes to market and enablers, such as the importance of platforms and fund rating agencies (experience with distribution / platform agreements a positive but not essential)Genuine interest in Impax’s authentic approach to investing with a deep understanding of the transition to a more sustainable economySelf-starter that is highly organised and wants to be part of a collaborative, collegiate sales teamSolid knowledge across different asset classes including private markets and investment solutions / structures (UCITS, Investment Trusts)Excellent presentation and communication skills needed for building internal and external relationshipsExcellent written / oral English and good analytical skillsFormal Education and Professional and/or Technical QualificationsFCA regulated with IMC or equivalent.
