UK Direct Tax Accountant

Butler Rose is supporting a market-leading business with a significant UK presence and global reach in the search for a UK Tax Specialist to join its Central Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of key direct tax responsibilities whilst working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, HR, Payroll and international tax teams.Duties will include:Prepare and manage UK Corporation Tax returns and quarterly tax calculationsDeliver current and deferred tax accounting and reporting requirementsSupport transfer pricing compliance and documentation activitiesManage employment tax compliance including P11Ds, PSA returns and company car reportingLiaise with HMRC, auditors and external advisersMonitor tax legislation and support tax governance, controls and risk management initiativesContribute to wider VAT, customs and international tax projectsCandidate Specification:Experience within UK direct tax compliance and reportingStrong knowledge of Corporation Tax and employment taxesExposure to tax accounting and transfer pricing activitiesQualified CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA or equivalentStrong analytical and stakeholder management skillsBenefits Include:Up to 10% annual bonus based on group performance27 days holiday plus the option to buy or sell 5 additional daysPrivate medical insurance6% employer pension contribution4x life assuranceEmployee car scheme including insurance, tax and breakdown cover, with the opportunity to change vehicles every 6 monthsLoan car ..... full job details .....
