This is a practical, detail-focused role preparing precision components, sub-assemblies and vacuum chambers for use in demanding ultra-high-vacuum applications. The UHV Cleaning Technician will clean, visually inspect, package and label manufactured parts in line with defined UHV cleaning specifications. You will also carry out leak checks, use bead-blasting equipment to remove surface deposits and identify any faults before products progress to the next production stage. Key Responsibilitie: Clean piece parts, sub-assemblies, final assemblies and chambers to ultra-high-vacuum standards. Visually inspect components and report faults, damage or quality concerns. Package and label completed parts in accordance with work instructions. Carry out leak checks on vacuum chambers.
