UAV/ Senior UAV Technician

Our client, an innovative organisation in the aerospace sector, is seeking a UAV/Senior UAV Technician to join its Airframe Manufacturing and Assembly Team on a permanent basis. The role will focus on the production of airframe components, installation of systems and avionics, and commissioning support for unmanned aerial vehicles. Based within a structured engineering and assembly environment, the position will also provide opportunities to support post-production flight operations across the UK.Key Responsibilities:Assembling airframe components, sub-assemblies and fuel systems using build packs and engineering specificationsTesting and qualifying sub-systems in accordance with standard operating proceduresInstalling avionics systems onto aircraft and supporting aircraft-level acceptance testingProviding on-site assistance during the installation and flight testing of new systems within the UKRecording completed work and maintaining accurate digital aircraft build logsProviding feedback to the Manufacturing and Engineering Teams on assembly processes and potential improvementsMaintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment, including the management of consumable stockWorking in accordance with health and safety requirements, company procedures and agreed operational standardsJob Requirements:Hands-on experience in an engineering or manufacturing environmentTechnically capable, with strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret and ..... full job details .....
