The UandA Compliance Coordinator reports directly to the A Compliance Manager supporting the co-ordination, submission and completion of Commitments Compliance Plans (CCP) and other supporting information required to fulfill SCS''s obligations in regards to the Undertakings and Assurances within the High Speed Rail Act 2017.The UandA Compliance Coordinator will work within the Consents and Engagement Service core team but will operate across three distinct delivery areas in separate geographic locations, supporting the UandA Area Coordinators within the delivery teams to ensure that the UandAs are understood and managed with consistency, and helping to ensure that the project overall also delivers its contractual obligations in an efficient and cost effective manner.Flexible working:

Supporting the UandA Compliance Manager and UandA Area Coordinators in ensuring the area delivery and/or service teams understand the UandA obligations for their scope of worksSupport the delivery teams in developing and maintaining up-to-date Commitments Compliance Plans across the project, and managing the overall Commitments Register / Compliance Plan baseline on a day to day basisEnsuring accurate and timely updates to the Client’s UandA management system and submission of evidence on the Client’s document management system.Attend and minute monthly review meetings with the Client, cascading Client feedback across the teams to resolve any outstanding matters.Producing reports which periodically record the progress on the discharge or handover of the commitments, including submission of supporting evidence, as well as any non-compliances or ‘near misses’Support the UandA Compliance Manager in carrying out internal audits on UandA complianceSupport the UandA Compliance Manager, UandA Area Coordinators, area delivery teams and service function teams in investigating and collating evidence for any non-compliance with UandAs, and supporting the completion of Lessons Learned activitiesLiaison with the Client and their other Contractors to develop a consistent approach to managing the submission, updating and approval of the CCP baseline and supporting documentation.The Ideal Candidate

Good communication skills both written and verbalExcellent organisational skills and able to multi-taskApproachable and excellent collaboration skillsWorking knowledge and Intermediate level of Office IT SystemsAble to meet deadlinesDatabase administration experience, including data-entry and basic reportingUnderstanding of the statutory process of the HS2 Act and associated Undertakings and Assurances.About the Company
