About the Role
Based in Grimsby, this permanent Tyre Fitter - Night shift position sits within an experienced bodyshop team, reporting to the supervisor and Bodyshop Manager. Working 18:00 to 06:00 on a four days on, four days off rotation, the successful candidate performs tyre diagnostics, including checks on condition, pressure and tread depth, plus replacing or repairing faulty tyres and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation. Additional duties cover supporting junior technicians and training new staff when required. Applicants must hold previous experience as a Tyre Technician and a full UK driving licence. The Role
Within this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced bodyshop team, ensuring our vehicles are finished to the highest standard for our customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Bodyshop Manager.

Responsibilities
- Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth)
- Replacing or repairing faulty tyres
- Checking and adjusting wheel balance, alignment and rotation
- Adhoc duties when required Training new staff when required
Skills and expertise
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Tyre Technician (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
- You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
- You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
- Excellent attention to detail
