This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work, providing targeted academic support to students who need a little extra help to succeed in core subjects. Initially offering a couple of hours per day, the role is expected to expand as the academic year progresses, creating the chance to pick up additional hours as more students are identified for tuition.

The Role

  • Deliver Maths and English tuition to KS3 and KS4 students, either one-to-one or in small groups.
  • Provide targeted academic support to help students catch up on missed learning, build confidence, and prepare for assessments.
  • Work on a flexible schedule, with hours tailored to suit both you and the school.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to ensure tuition aligns with the wider curriculum and student learning plans.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience tutoring or teaching Maths and/or English at the secondary level.
  • The ability to motivate, engage, and inspire students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, adapting to the needs of students and the school.
