TUTOR As a Tutor working with TailorEDucation, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to make progress in their learning, confidence and personal development. Our tuition assignments cover children and young people from KS1 through to KS5, with opportunities supporting a diverse range of educational needs. This may include Functional Skills Maths and English, academic catch-up, targeted intervention or personalised learning support. You may also work with pupils who have SEND needs, adapting your approach to meet their individual learning needs and circumstances. Depending on the role, you may be responsible for: Planning and delivering engaging, structured tuition sessions Supporting pupils to develop their Maths and English skills Delivering Functional Skills or targeted academic intervention Adapting learning to meet individual needs and abilities Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils Monitoring progress and providing feedback on learning Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning Working collaboratively with schools, families and other professionals where appropriate Tuition may be delivered face-to-face, either within a school or an appropriate education setting, depending on the individual placement or online.
