SEND Specialist TutorAt Prospero Teaching, we work closely with local SEND teams and schools across the North East. We are currently looking for Specialist Tutors with experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), either on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings, in Spennymoor.The OpportunityWhile supporting students with their academic learning is an important part of the role, we are also looking for tutors who can provide the stability, structure and encouragement students need to build confidence and thrive in their day-to-day lives.Tutors will also be required to complete detailed weekly reports outlining the student''s progress, engagement and development. These reports will help us monitor progress and ensure that each student remains on track towards achieving their individual learning goals.Contract/Position Details:Location - SpennymoorPosition - SEND Specialist TutorType of work - ContractStart date - ASAPSetting - either within the student''s home or in the community (learning hub/library)Duration - Until the pupil is able to find a suitable school placementContract type - TemporaryFull-time/part-time availability, ranging from 6-15hours p/w per studentRate of pay - up to 30 per hour (negotiable) Your role with us:Support students with SEND through individual and small group sessions, developing self-confidence, independence, practical life skills, community awareness, and basic food preparation.Plan and deliver bespoke learning activities ..... full job details .....
