SEND Tutor (Part-Time)Hourly Rate: £30 - £35Location: Suffolk and surrounding areasJob Type: Part-time Reed Tutors is working with Suffolk County Council to provide Alternative Provision learning through 1:1 tutoring for students who are not attending a formal education setting.We are currently seeking SEND Tutors, with teaching experience, to deliver personalised tutoring and mentoring to students with SEND in Suffolk. This role focuses on supporting students in core subjects as well as to develop a tailored learning curriculums to foster both academic and personal growth.Though this is classed as a part-time and temporary role, we are able to provide full teaching timetables for our tutors.Day-to-day of the role:Deliver engaging and effective lessons in core subjects tailored to the student''s individual needs and abilities.Implement educational strategies and techniques during tutoring sessions to meet the specific needs of the student with SEN.Monitor and assess the student''s progress, adapting teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.Provide mentorship and guidance to support the student''s overall development and confidence.Collaborate with parents or guardians to keep them informed about the student''s progress and any recommendations for further development.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in tutoring or teaching primary school students, particularly those with SEND.Strong understanding of the primary or secondary curriculums and the ability ..... full job details .....
