TUTOR

This role is based in SP8 GILLINGHAM, but we also have multiple roles available across Dorset. As a SEN Tutor, you will:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students.Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.Record student progress and report on this weekly.Be understanding, empathetic and patient.Record attendance.Be organised, dependable and creative.Be calm, fair and adaptable.About you: Experience working with young people in UK schoolsBackground in SEN education or alternative provision- desirable but not essentialConfident delivering Maths and EnglishEmpathetic, reliable, and calm under pressureAble to build trusting relationships and foster a love of learningExperience of working with young people with SEMH needsPosition - Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Opportunities for both Hours - 15 Hours per week- for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time.
