Tutor - Basingstoke Flexible 1:1 Tutoring Opportunities Across a Range of SubjectsWe''re looking for Tutors to support children and young people across Basingstoke and the surrounding areas.Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll provide personalised 1:1 tuition to learners who require alternative educational provision. We welcome applications from tutors with experience delivering core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, as well as those with expertise in specific subject areas.Many of the students supported have experienced disruptions to their education and benefit from tailored support that helps them rebuild confidence, develop key skills, and achieve positive outcomes.Location: Basingstoke and Surrounding AreasSubjects: Core Subjects and Specialist Subjects WelcomeStart Date: SeptemberHours: FlexiblePay Rate: 25- 30 per hourType: 1:1 Tuition RequirementsMinimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar rolesStrong knowledge of one or more curriculum subjectsAbility to plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessionsExperience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirableExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsPatient, adaptable, and learner-focused approachEnhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneDriver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within the Basingstoke area Who ..... full job details .....
