Tutor

Are you a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for helping young minds thrive? If so, we have a very exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a tutor in Skelmersdale. You will be making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk young people. The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in a pupil''s education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Position Details:
- Role: 1:1 Secondary Tutor
- Subjects: Maths, English, Science
- Location: In the community or pupils home (Lancaster)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate of Pay: GBP25 per hour (minimum)
- Hours: Flexible - between 8am and 4pm (some after-school work available)
- Contract Type: Ongoing, part-time contract

Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years professional references
- QTS or relevant tutoring experience
- Experience working with SEN pupils (preferred)

- Ability to create and deliver personalised learning plans
- Comfortable supporting students with emotional or behavioural needs
- Willing to provide weekly progress reports
