Tutor

About the Role:
We are looking for passionate and reliable 1:1 Tutors to support learners across the Leicester area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students on an individual basis, helping them improve their academic performance, confidence, and overall engagement with learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to each student’s needs

• Support core subjects such as English and Maths (other subjects desirable)

• Plan, prepare, and adapt engaging lesson materials

• Track student progress and provide feedback

• Build positive relationships with students to support their development

Requirements:

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is desirable

• Strong subject knowledge in relevant areas

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, adaptable, and committed to student success

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• Experience working with SEN or vulnerable learners

• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
