Turfgrass Trials Officer

Turfgrass Trials Officer We re recruiting for a Turfgrass Trials Officer to join a specialist research and consultancy organisation working on commercial product trials and turfgrass research. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with an interest in turfgrass, sports surfaces, horticulture, agriculture, plant science or applied science. You ll be involved in setting up and managing trials, collecting and analysing data, assessing results and producing reports for commercial clients. The Role You ll be responsible for the practical delivery of a range of commercial trials and related research projects, working both independently and as part of a wider research team. Your responsibilities will include: Designing, coordinating and completing commercial trials and research projects. Managing the practical day-to-day requirements of trial work. Preparing trial plans, drawings and management regimes. Applying products and carrying out assessments in accordance with agreed procedures. Collecting, recording and analysing trial data. Producing accurate and detailed reports for clients. Maintaining records relating to pesticides and active substances and ensuring work complies with relevant regulations. Supporting the preparation and setup of new trials. Carrying out basic diagnosis of turfgrass pests and diseases. Checking, calibrating and maintaining equipment.
