The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, repairing, and installing electrical systems associated with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) and supporting tunnelling equipment. Key Responsibilities - Carry out planned preventative maintenance on TBMs and tunnelling plant - Diagnose and repair electrical faults on motors, drives, PLC systems, conveyors, pumps, ventilation systems, and power distribution equipment - Respond rapidly to breakdowns to minimise operational downtime - Assist with TBM assembly, commissioning, operation, and demobilisation - Install and maintain temporary and permanent electrical services underground and on surface - Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings - Perform testing, inspection, and fault-finding on HV/LV systems - Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures and electrical regulations - Work closely with mechanical and production teams to maintain continuous tunnelling operations - Maintain accurate main...
