As part of the hiring process you'll be required to attend a 30min interview & Onsite Tour. If selected you'll have the opportunity to attend a 2 Day “LGV Articulated Yard Shunter Training Course” then 5 days Shadow Training an experienced driver. Course Details: This course is designed to train delegates to move LGV articulated vehicles around the premises, including reversing into a specified location. It makes delegates aware of their legal responsibilities and takes them through a safe system of work from carrying out pre-use checks of the vehicle to understanding the vehicle’s controls and braking systems and precautions to take when coupling/uncoupling. NOTE: Delegates undertaking this course must first hold a minimum full manual (not automatic) UK car driving licence. This course will not licence the operator to operate on the public highway.
