About Cygnus Support Cygnus Support is a local charity dedicated to improving the mental health and emotional wellbeing of people across Northumberland. We empower people to improve their lives by providing counselling, education and support in their local community. At a time when demand for mental health and wellbeing support remains high, our work is more important than ever. We are seeking new trustees who can help us strengthen our charity, guide our future direction and ensure we continue to deliver the strongest possible support for the people who need us most. You will be joining a well-respected mental health and wellbeing charity made up of a small team of friendly staff, volunteers and board of trustees who are all passionate and committed to making a difference to peoples'' lives. The Opportunity We are looking for people to join our Board of Trustees and support the leadership of Cygnus Support as we shape the next stage of our charity''s development. As a trustee, you will work with fellow board members and the senior team to provide strategic direction, good governance and constructive challenge.
