Seasonal Loader - Fixed 6-Month Contract

Location: Client Site, Purfleet
Hours: 6pm to 6am (12-hour shift, night working) Flexibilty required as an anuualised salary
Hours per week: 48 hours
Salary: £40,000 per annum pro rata

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Seasonal Loader for a fixed-term contract of 6 months at our client''s Purfleet site. This night shift role (6pm-6am) involves the safe loading of mini bulk tankers returned from daytime duties at Canvey Mainstream and Corryton terminals, preparing vehicles for the next day''s deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Safely load mini bulk tankers in line with procedures
• 
  Prepare vehicles to meet next day delivery schedules
• 
  Raise alarms immediately in case of incidents
• 
  Secure the site office after loading is complete
• 
  Provide flexibility in working hours to manage operational or traffic delays and ensure timely loading
• 
  Proactively manage health, safety, and security issues on site
• 
  Coordinate with the on-site garage for vehicle availability

Required Experience andamp; Qualifications:

• 
  Full UK HGV Licence
• 
  ADR Awareness (via in-house presentation)
• 
  Security Awareness (via in-house presentation)
• 
  Familiarity with LPG Transfer Method Statement
• 
  Experience in the LPG industry
• 
  HGV experience
• 
  ADR Class 2, Gases andamp; Tanks qualification
• 
  Willingness to complete terminal inductions

  Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• 
  Flexible to occasional late LPG transfers due to refinery or traffic delays
• 
  Reliable and punctual with strong adherence to safety procedures
