Trials Technician

Our client BAE Systems, a prominent organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking two Trials Technicians to join their team in Risdale on a 12-month contract.Key Responsibilities:Ensure allocated tests and trials are completed in a safe manner to the highest quality standards, within customer time and cost constraintsMaintain all equipment required for tests and trials to a high standard and ensure suitability for tasksOperate lifting equipment, including forklift trucksComplete equipment records accuratelySet up, operate, and break down test arenasProvide test data to the Trials Engineer for customer reportsContinuously improve the Ridsdale range test facilities and capabilitiesEnsure compliance with SHE legislation and Business safe systems of work for self and othersJob Requirements:Experience working within a mechanical environmentKnowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 is desirableProficient in using SAP, Microsoft Office, and Teamcenter is desirableRecognised Safety and Health Management qualification (e.g. IOSH) is desirableAbility to provide innovative and practical solutions to complex issuesStrong negotiation and decision-making skills in a dynamic environmentPositive ''can do'' attitude and commitment to continuous improvementIf you are an experienced technician looking for a new contract opportunity within the Defence and Security sector, we would love to hear from you.
