Trials / Test Engineer (Defence Sector) 45,000 - 55,000 DOE Hybrid (3-5 days on-site) Security Clearance: Candidates must be a British Citizen or a Dual UK National holding British citizenship. Our client, a leading name in the defence sector, is looking for a Trials /Test Engineer to join their Integration and System Validation (ISV) team, supporting a major and growing complex weapons programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team at a critical and exciting phase of expansion. The Role: As Trials Engineer, you''ll carry out a range of technical, engineering and scientific activities, analysing, interpreting and evaluating technical information, concepts and ideas. Reporting to the Ground Trials Team Lead, you''ll apply existing knowledge (or draw on input from senior team members) of Ordnance, Munitions and Explosives principles to contribute to the development and implementation of long-term system safety proving plans and test activities. You''ll work closely with teams across the business as well as UK, French and Italian national authorities. There''s also scope to broaden your experience into other test disciplines such as Electromagnetic Compatibility, Mechanical and Climatic, or Engine test. This role would suit an engineer with practical experience looking to build on existing skills - or develop new ones - on a high-profile, long-term programme with exposure to a wide range of technical disciplines and stakeholders.
