To achieve this, we need to carefully manage our financial resources and that''s where you come in.We''re looking for a motivated finance professional to join our Treasury team, helping us to make efficient investment and borrowing decisions to ensure we maintain appropriate levels of liquidity, whilst managing financial risk so we can keep investing in essential services for our customers and communities.What you''ll be doingIn this dynamic and varied role, you''ll be directly involved in our daily dealing operations and wider treasury activities, including:Training on our daily cash dealing process, a critical business role managing multiple cash pools, in close contact with the group''s banks ensuring the UU Group stays liquid and makes essential payments to avoid default.Ensuring compliance with financial contracts, regulatory obligations, internal governance and treasury policies.Supporting debt issuance, hedging activity, and the group''s broader financing strategy, including opportunities to get involved in electricity and interest rate hedging.Conducting detailed financial risk analysis in areas such as liquidity and credit risk, preparing monthly and quarterly ..... full job details .....
