My client, a leading credit fund, is looking for a Treasury Associate to join a high performing team of two in Treasury who operate as part of the Financing and Structuring Team. This role will involve engagement with the wider Credit team, in addition to external counterparties which include banks, lenders, FX hedging providers, advisors and other service providers. This role is based in London but offers hybrid working flexibility.Key ResponsibilitiesLiquidity management including recommending on the source of funds for the Fund’s investmentsEnsuring the Funds are having adequate liquidity and adhere to relevant liquidity policy and strategyAnalysis of optimal usage of the Fund’s capitalEnsure adherence to the funds FX hedging policy and strategy including assistance in execution of trades and ongoing monitoring of FX Hedging programme.Modelling and analysis within relevant areas for the role in order to advise on impact of certain key decisions relevant to the functionInstructing payments, inter/intra-fund and to external parties as necessaryAssisting in the origination, negotiation and implementation of financing agreements (subscription lines, FX ISDAs and others as relevant)Assisting in the design and implementation of dashboards to provide appropriate management information to key stakeholdersAssisting in ensuring relevant policies and procedures are documented appropriatelyAssisting in relationship management across counterparties relevant to the Fund’s treasury activitiesKey Requirements2-5 years of work experience preferably in accountancy, treasury function or bankingStrong level of Excel proficiency - comfortable working with large data setsKnowledge of loan products and/or fund industry would be usefulAbility to communicate in a clear, convincing and concise manner to internal and external stakeholdersSelf-starter with the ability to work within teams and independentlyComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentApplies a commercial mindset with the ability to see the bigger pictureKeen to learn new things and proactively doing soDemonstrates a desire to find the best possible approach and challenge the status quo if necessaryAbility to maximise technology and system usage for most efficient operational resultSeniority level
