Traveller Liaison Officer Wembley, Northwest London Local Authority Immediate Start Ongoing Temporary Assignment Monday to Friday 7.2 Hours per Day (36 Hours per Week) Pay Rates £22.41 per hour PAYE £29.51 per hour Umbrella/LTD The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Traveller Liaison Officer to join a well-established Local Authority Housing team in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Traveller community while delivering high-quality housing and site management services. The successful candidate will take direct responsibility for the management of a Traveller site, acting as the primary point of contact for residents and stakeholders, ensuring excellent tenancy and licence management, compliance, customer service and community engagement. This is an ongoing temporary position with an immediate start available. Key Responsibilities Act as the lead officer responsible for the day-to-day management of a Traveller site. Be the face of the landlord, delivering a visible, accessible and customer-focused housing management service. Manage licences from initial letting through to termination and re-let. Support residents to sustain their licence agreements and meet rental obligations. Promote financial inclusion and access to support services. Build positive relationships with Traveller residents and community stakeholders. Coordinate multi-agency meetings and action plans to resolve complex cases.
