We have an urgent requirement for a Teacher of Travel and Tourism to join an Ofsted Outstanding sixth form college in central Manchester during a period of temporary staff absence.This is a part-time supply role, three days per week - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, teaching Travel and Tourism across Lower and Upper Sixth.The RoleYou will teach a combination of coursework and exam units, including:The World of Travel and Tourism - Lower Sixth, exam unit (January 2027)UK Tourist Destinations - Upper Sixth, coursework unitThe Development of UK Tourism - Lower Sixth, coursework unitThe successful teacher will teach across Lower and Upper Sixth on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.The CollegeYou will be joining one of the largest sixth form colleges in the country, located in the centre of Manchester.Ofsted OutstandingOversubscribed Catholic sixth form collegeOver 3,700 students aged 16-19Diverse and inclusive community welcoming students from a range of backgrounds and faithsLocated close to Manchester''s universitiesExcellent public transport linksRequirementsTo be considered for this Travel and Tourism Teacher role, you will need to:Hold a recognised teaching qualification for secondary or post-compulsory education, such as PGCE/QTS or PCET/QTLSHave relevant experience teaching Travel and TourismBe confident teaching post-16 students across coursework and exam unitsHave the legal right to work in the ..... full job details .....
