Travel and Tourism Lecturer

Reed Further Education is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Travel and Tourism to deliver high-quality teaching within a further education setting based in DerbyThis is a full-time temporary role covering staff absence, with delivery across Level 1 to Level 3 learners.Full-Time (37 hours) - Temporary / AgencyStart Date 18th August 2026End date:TBCCandidates will be required to complete a micro-teach assessment as part of the selection processKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging Travel and Tourism lessons across BTEC programmesPlan, assess, and monitor learner progress in line with curriculum requirementsSupport students to achieve their qualifications and career goalsContribute to quality assurance processes, including internal verification (IQA)Follow safeguarding procedures and participate in vetting and compliance checksKey RequirementsRelevant degree in Travel and Tourism or related sectorRecognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)Experience delivering Travel and Tourism (BTEC preferred)Knowledge or experience of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)What''s on OfferCompetitive hourly pay (weekly)Variety of FE roles and settingsOngoing consultant supportOpportunities for long-term or permanent rolesReady to take your next step in further education?
