Sheridan Maine is working with an established travel business to recruit a Travel Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to support the smooth delivery of tailor-made trips, working across multiple international teams to ensure exceptional client service from booking to departure.
 
The Role
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient coordination of travel operations. You’ll work closely with travel consultants based in the UK, USA, and Australia, liaising with suppliers and partners to guarantee all services are correctly booked and client information is accurate and up to date.
 
Your responsibilities as the Travel Operations Coordinator will include:

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure the seamless delivery of travel services.
  • Conduct quality checks at the booking confirmation stage to ensure all services are correctly booked and required client details are communicated.
  • Input accurate and up-to-date reservation details into the internal booking system to support the efficient generation of client travel documentation.
  • Review and verify bookings prior to document production, ensuring all changes are captured, and services are aligned with client itineraries.
  • Generate high-quality final travel documents, updating manual fields as required to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare and check client travel packs (including tickets and vouchers) and coordinate final proofing with travel consultants prior to dispatch.
  • Assist with additional operational or administrative tasks as needed to support the wider travel operations team
 
About You:
  • Strong administrative skills and highly organised.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
 
Ideally, you’ll bring a genuine passion for travel along with previous experience in travel operations or a similar support role.
