As part of the Trauma Support team, you''ll work closely with students affected by early-life adversity, anxiety, and behavioural challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping them regulate emotions, re-engage with learning, and develop trusting relationships.
What you''ll do in your Trauma Support role:
Provide consistent 1:1 or small group support tailored to students'' emotional needs
Help implement trauma-informed strategies and routines
Create a stable, calm, and nurturing classroom environment
Encourage positive coping mechanisms and self-regulation skills
A successful Trauma Support candidate will be emotionally intelligent, patient, and dedicated to helping young people overcome barriers to education.
