Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and coordinating daily transport activities across the company fleet and third-party logistics providers
- Scheduling customer and collection orders
- Managing delivery schedules, ETAs and operational changes
- Liaising with customers, drivers and departments across the business
- Creating pick lists and delivery documentation
- Providing inbound logistics support, including dealing with HGV drivers, EU vehicle documentation and vehicle weighments
- Investigating delivery issues and customer queries and helping coordinate solutions
- Maintaining accurate records on the CRM system
- Supporting colleagues across different areas of the logistics function when required
- Previous experience within transport, logistics or supply chain, with around 2–3 years' experience advantageous
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to stay calm and organised when priorities change
- A proactive, positive and team-focused attitude
- The ability to commute reliably to Ashbourne
