The aims of the Transport Service are to provide safe, accessible and efficient transport means to vulnerable people so that they can participate in the services offered by Day Opportunities for vulnerable people throughout North East Lincolnshire and the surrounding area.Please note that Care Plus Group are not currently registered to sponsor applicants from outside the EU and EEA.Main duties of the job

Job title: Transport Team LeaderDepartment: TransportBase: Cromwell Road Resource Centre and Doughty Road Depot37.5 hours a week, permanentSalary: £29,317 - £35,715 per annum. You will be appointed on a fixed point within the range.You will undertake the day to day management of a team of transport staff, delivering a comprehensive and professional service, ensuring all Health and Safety regulations and Road Traffic legislation are adhered to in relation to transportation and vehicle safety. You will co-ordinate the transport operations to satisfy the needs of the customers through the efficient usage of the fleet. You will be required to drive vehicles as and when needed.You must hold a D1 driving entitlement and a level 4 Supervision/Management qualification or equivalent level of competence. You should have experience of managing, recruiting and delivering training to staff and have previous experience of working with vulnerable adults with a range of needs. It is also essential that you have experience of working within a transport environment, have effective customer care and decision making skills and are competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel. A working knowledge of relevant legislation is also required.About us
