Transport Supervisor/Clerk

We are seeking a detail oriented and organised Depot Clerk/Supervisor for one of our busiest clients based in Larkhall to work on a 5 on2/3 off shift pattern, you will be required to do one week of backshift on a rotational pattern

If you are currently in a Debriefer role this would be a great challenge for a role progression

Basic salary £28,300 per hour

04:00am-1pm

12:00pm-9pm

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This position requires proficiency in data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Liaising with the traffic department to support on time deliveries
• Liaising with Customers to ensure customers’ expectations are met
• Manage and organise files, both electronic and paper-based
• Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette
• Support the team with clerical duties as needed
• Maintain an organised office environment to enhance productivity
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow

Experience

• Previous experience in an office or administrative role is essential
• Demonstrate a good customer focus
• Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with a CRM
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to work to timescales
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Required to assist with the loading and unloading
• Strong understanding of safe loading and transport
• Experience supporting all  new starters
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills
• Strong Driver engagement
• Experience safe systems of work
