**PM Transport Supervisor Required** to join an award-winning national logistics business. This is a crucial role and likewise is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position within a dynamic operation.

You'll be instrumental in upholding high-quality levels and performance standards, all while promoting best-in-class safety practices. As a main point of contact, you'll seamlessly interact with customers and colleagues, becoming an integral part of their ongoing success.

PM Transport Supervisor – Responsibilities

  • Daily satisfaction of all customer transport requirements.
  • Serving as a key management liaison for customer interactions.
  • Optimising the coordination of internal fleet and sub-contractors for maximum cost-effectiveness.
  • Leading day-to-day driver management, focusing on team development, training, and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic management of suppliers (sub-contractors, agencies, maintenance) to control operational spend.
  • Ensuring peak reliability and presentation through regular driver, vehicle, and trailer checks.
  • Guaranteeing full adherence to all company internal processes, procedures, and O-License legislative demands.
  • Compiling and presenting weekly management information reports.

PM Transport Supervisor - Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising in transport operations.
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities.
  • A track record of responsible, ethical, and honest conduct.
  • A solid understanding of current UK transport operations and legislation.
  • Management CPC or a clear commitment to obtaining this qualification (Highly desirable)
  • Ideally, practical experience with O-Licence compliance. (Highly Desirable)
  • Strong IT proficiency, including familiarity with fleet and transport management software.
  • A true team player who can inspire and foster a strong team culture.
  • The essential flexibility to adapt quickly and effectively to unexpected challenges
