As part of our continued growth, we’re now seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to support our night operations at Hams Hall.

About the Role
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our transport operation runs safely, efficiently, and in line with regulations. You’ll support our team of drivers, manage night-time logistics, and help deliver a first-class service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities include:

- Allocating and managing drivers on a nightly basis
- Monitoring driver performance, activity, and compliance
- Completing driver wages, holidays, and working time records
- Managing agency driver bookings and associated costs
- Ensuring all driver paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Booking vehicle inspections, MOTs, and managing defects
- Reporting any incidents, near misses, and maintaining accurate records
- Ordering and monitoring site fuel levels
- Working collaboratively with other sites to maintain service excellence

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in transport supervision or coordination
- Strong understanding of drivers’ hours regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Strong IT proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook essential)
- Experience with Transport Management Systems is beneficial but not essential
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to meet deadlines
