Role: Transport Supervisor / Manager Location: Motherwell (site-based)Package: 35,000 + Monday-Friday Shift Pattern About the RoleThis is a hands-on Transport Supervisor / Manager position within a fast-paced retail distribution environment. You''ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of transport operations, ensuring deliveries are executed on time, in full, and in line with compliance standards.You''ll sit at the centre of the operation - coordinating drivers, managing routes, and keeping the wheels turning across a busy retail supply chain. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily transport operations across a retail distribution networkManage driver schedules, route planning, and delivery performanceEnsure full compliance with transport regulations (drivers'' hours, WTD, vehicle checks)Act as the first point of contact for drivers, handling issues and resolving disruptions quicklyMonitor KPIs across service, cost, and efficiencyWork closely with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operationsMaintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service Key ExperienceExperience in a Transport Supervisor / Manager role within retail logistics distribution and supply chainStrong understanding of UK transport compliance and operational standardsExperience managing drivers and coordinating daily transport activityComfortable ..... full job details .....
