The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, extensive knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, and proficiency with various systems such as ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and transportation management systems. This role involves ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and driving continuous process improvements to optimise overall transportation performance. Duties Supervise daily transportation activities, including shipping, receiving, and freight handling. Oversee the utilisation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and AS400 to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory and shipments. Manage relationships with 3PL providers to ensure service levels meet organisational standards. Coordinate with warehouse teams to optimise storage, loading, and unloading operations.
