We are working with a well-established and fast-growing business specialising in the transformation of commercial and retail spaces. With over 20 year''s experience, they deliver a true end-to-end service across construction, logistics, procurement, and installation, and have been recognised as one of the UK''s fastest-growing private companies.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Transport Supervisor to support and strengthen their logistics operation.

About the Role

The Transport Supervisor will support the operational needs of the logistics function, ensuring transport availability and delivery in line with the business plan. This role is key to maintaining efficient day-to-day operations, supporting senior leadership and planning teams, and developing strong relationships with third-party logistics providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day performance of drivers and planners
• Coordinate transport planning, including vehicle and driver allocation
• Build and manage relationships with internal teams and 3PL providers
• Monitor compliance, analyse transport data, and produce KPIs
• Identify operational issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Key Experience

• Experience in a transport supervisory or similar role, managing drivers and operations
• Strong understanding of UK transport legislation and compliance
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience using transport systems, with strong Excel and IT capability
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and take a proactive approach
