Transport Supervisor

Daley Recruitment are looking for a Transport Supervisor for a fine foods distributor based in Bristol. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for the overall distribution operations.Salary of -32,260.Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Apply online only) with additional hours and some Saturdays requiredKey Responsibilities:Delivery - Ensure products are delivered in good condition, monitor trucks temperatures, ensure correct invoicing and manage product return.Route planning - Ensure routes planned are within weight limit and time constraints, optimize routes and identify and implement improvement in the delivery teamFleet Management - Manage current fleet to ensure safe, secure and legal as well as 3rd party managementTeam Management Engagement - Maintain communication between Transport and Warehouse teams and wider business ensuring any issue are resolved in a timely manner.Role Requirements:Minimum 3 years experience within the Transport industryExperience using route planning softwareExcellent knowledge of Transport LegislationHold a full valid UK licence, HGV BeneficialSupporting Drivers or Routes where operationally required This role could suit an experienced HGV Driver looking to progress into transport management.Skills RequiredRoute planning, Knowledge and understanding of Transport Legislation, Fleet Management KeywordsTransport Supervisor, Fleet Management, Route Planning
