Working closely with the management team, you will play a key role in overseeing daily transport activities, supporting drivers, maintaining compliance standards, and ensuring operational efficiency across the fleet.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all transport legislation, health and safety requirements, and company policies, including tachograph management and vehicle defect reportingSupport the planning and optimisation of daily vehicle routes to maximise productivity and minimise downtimeMonitor driver performance, attendance, and productivity, providing coaching and support where requiredConduct investigations relating to vehicle incidents, accidents, and employee conduct issuesLiaise with drivers, operational teams, and customers to ensure service levels are maintainedOversee vehicle, equipment, and site standards, ensuring operational readiness at all timesMaintain accurate transport documentation, reports, and compliance recordsAssist with credit control processes and support wider business performance ..... full job details .....
