Transport Supervisor

Transport Supervisor Up to 36,000 Alexander Steele Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a successful FMCG business in their search for a Transport Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with all transport regulations. You''ll lead and support a team of Transport Planners, monitor fleet performance, maintain high service levels and drive operational excellence across the transport function. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily transport operations and delivery performance Oversee route planning and scheduling activities Lead, coach and support Transport Planners Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company standards Support fleet availability, maintenance planning and driver safety Monitor KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunities Act as a key liaison between drivers and internal stakeholders Key Requirements: Experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role Strong knowledge of fleet operations and transport compliance Experience managing and developing teams Excellent organisational and communication skills Hours: Monday-Friday, 09:30-18:00 (with occasional weekend ..... full job details .....
