Transport Supervisor (4 On/4 Off Nights) Menzies Distribution Solutions is looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team in Broxbourne. Responsible for developing and building efficient routes whilst maximising vehicle capacity, ensuring all work is distributed whilst complying with Transport Legislation, Health and Safety and customer service requirements. Ensuring that the Transport Planners deliver the customer''s products on time and in full using the most cost effective means possible and best use of available resources including maximising the utilisation of Menzies Drivers in line with current driver hours and WTD legislation. The Details: Salary: £33,000 Per Annum Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off NightsStart Time: Between 19:00 - 21:00Hours Per Week: 42Monthly Pay Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to) Ensure that your Site Planners plan all relevant customer deliveries utilising the software available at site to ensure delivery windows are met.Through liaising with your Site Planners that you are fully aware of any delays and possible issues with delivery.Liaise with the Customer as required in relation to delays and possible issues with delivery.Develop back haul lanes with both Menzies depots and 3rd party customers whilst maintaining fleet utilisation.Source local agency drivers as and when required (in conjunction with our PSL) providing an accurate brief of job required.Source local sub contractors as and when ..... full job details .....
