Transport SAP ControllerHours of Work: Rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00Pay Rate: 14.00 per hour, paid breaksLocation: Widnes, WA8Contract Type: Temporary to PermanentStart Date: ASAPFULLY OFFICE BASEDRole SummaryThe Transport SAP Controller will be responsible for updating and maintaining the SAP/DAS system to ensure the efficient flow of yard management operations for inbound deliveries. This role requires close coordination with operational teams to provide accurate and timely information in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesUpdate SAP with amendments, including delays, cancellations, and special deliveries.Manage Trailer Units (TUs) by creating IDs, assigning appointments, and uploading additional TUs as required.Monitor and coordinate deliveries for direct and indirect operations.Liaise with relevant departments regarding delivery issues and escalate operational inconsistencies where necessary.Maintain and arrange dock slots in line with operational requirements.Identify and report operational problems and delays, escalating complex issues to senior management.Resolve delivery issues, track delayed vehicles, and support service performance improvements.Ensure timely tracking of delayed vehicles entering the site.Maintain inbound service levels and operational standards.Adhere to company policies and legislation relating to health, safety, environment, and risk management.Essential Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience using SAP is ..... full job details .....
