Location: East Midlands Rate: £450-£650 per day (Umbrella PAYE) Contract: Initial 3-month contract with potential extension and opportunity to transition into a permanent position Working Arrangements: Hybrid working arrangements available, with flexibility depending on programme requirementsExciting Opportunity for a Transport Projects and Programmes Manager in the East MidlandsAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Projects and Programmes Manager to join a busy highways and transport delivery environment. You will lead the delivery of a significant portfolio of transport schemes, including major infrastructure projects, capital programmes and maintenance initiatives, working across projects at different stages of development, procurement and delivery.The main duties of the Transport Projects and Programmes Manager include: Leading the delivery of multiple transport and highways programmes from development through to successful completion. Managing major infrastructure and capital schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Coordinating project managers, designers, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Monitoring programme performance, budgets, risks, quality and delivery milestones. Providing regular progress updates, reports and recommendations to senior management.
